Logistics Assistant

PRIMARY DUTIES & ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the Manager in the distribution of goods, which often involves using telecommunications system and complex systems to have an up-to-date record on stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and performance evaluations
• Assist the manager in importing and exporting goods through UAE ports.
• Plans and manages the movement of trucks and containers for export and local dispatch.
• Monitors movement of goods while maintaining the quality and efficiency of it.
• Coordinates inventory of stock and ensures product adjustments are properly applied. Receives, sorts, logs, and distributes all incoming shipments.
• Arranges warehousing and transportation of products to customers.
• Responsible for the legalization of related documents and keeps track records of all transactions and import and export documentation.
• Assist the manager in leading and supervising the team of logistics personnel charged with the task of order preparation and fulfilling outbound duties and evaluation of their individual work performance.
• Coordinates in solving custom issues and ministry problems encountered related to import and export.
• Utilizes an online program for clearing of goods from customs.
• Responsible for overseeing the planned maintenance of company vehicles.
• Develops positive business relationships with the customer's key personnel involved in or directly relevant to the logistics activity.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED2,000.00 per month

Education:

Experience:

• work experience in logistics management and administration.: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:
