Logistics Coordinator

Responsibilities

v Logistics Management: -

  • Creating packing list and invoice for shipments
  • Coordinating and completing each shipments within and outside UAE
  • Knowledge on UAE laws related to logistics, as well as HFZA rules.
  • Contacts with shipping companies, and also should take initiative to bring cost effects means to the department.
  • · Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services
  • · Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle
  • · Liaise and negotiate with Shipping companies and freight forwarders.
  • · Keep track of delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.
  • · Arrange warehouse, plan routes and process shipments.
  • · Resolve any arising problems or complaints.
  • · Supervise, coach and train warehouse workforce.
  • · Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets.
  • · Maintain metrics and analyse data to assess performance and implement improvements.
  • · Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements.
  • v Vehicle Management: -
  • · Vehicle scheduling and dispatch.
  • · Efficient assets utilization and route planning.
  • · Vehicle inspection and maintenance.
  • · Real time vehicle location tracking.
  • · Vehicle performance monitoring, record keeping and improvement.
  • · Monitoring, correcting and improving driver’s behaviour and operations.
  • · Monitoring, coaching and rewarding drivers.
  • · Assisting in the recruitment, discipline and termination of the drivers.
  • · Evaluating driver’s performances.
  • · Tracking driver’s attendance, health and other status.
  • · Maintaining constant communication with drivers.
  • · Training drivers on risk management protocol and safety standards.
  • · Maintaining top ups for ADNOC Wallet & Salik accounts
  • v Facility Management: -
  • · Oversees Building and Ground Maintenance.
  • · Operate & maintain custodial functions.
  • · Ensures security & emergency preparedness procedures are implemented properly.
  • · Ensures that the facility is clean & maintained according to company policies and procedures.
  • · Oversees & supervises the quality of work done by contractors to ensure that all tasks are performed correctly.
  • · Manage & review service and insurance contracts.
  • · Conducts regular facilities inspections.
  • · Check completed work by vendors and contractors.
  • · Recommends maintenance, electrical and facility design modification.
  • · Allocates and supervises the financial and physical resources of the facility management.
  • · Frequent surprise visit to Labours Accommodation and Staff accommodation.
  • v Admin & Office Management: -
  • · Plan and coordinate administrative procedures, systems and devise ways to streamline processes.
  • · Ensure the smooth and adequate flow of information within the company to facilitate other business operations.
  • · Monitor costs and expenses to assist in budget preparation.
  • · Oversee facilities services, maintenance activities.
  • · Organize and supervise other office activities (recycling, renovations, event planning etc.)
  • · Ensure operations adhere to policies and regulations.
  • · Organize Office operation and procedures.
  • . Supervising the updates of job manhours in ERP.
  • . Frequent checking in all the system (MOFA, Customs, PRO Services etc.) to reduce fines.
  • . Payments for Electricity, Sewerage, Wi-Fi for Staff Accommodation and rental cheques for Labour accommodation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
