Job Description for Logistics Coordinator

CHA Coordination

Coordination and submission for the DO related documents and submission.

Coordination with Forwarder for DO related activities.

Following up with CHA for dispatch of goods to warehouse or client location with proper documents.

Internal Coordination

Sending all the shipment related information to the respective warehouse or store team.

Updating shipment updates to stake holders.

Taking confirmation on the stock if all the material is found correctly or any discrepancies.

Updating all the relevant information in ERP related to logistics operations.

PAN India dispatches in coordination with Transporter and logistics provider.

Documents submission for Eway bill for import shipments.

PAN India dispatches coordination

Identifying and maintaining relationships with Transporter and Logistics provider for PAN India.

Placing the vehicle as per the requirement received from the stakeholders.

Coordinating with drivers for daily updates on transit time and the date of reaching destination.

Monitor logistics costs and prepare cost reports.

Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising service quality.

Updating the MIS for local vehicle placements during the day/month/year.

Insurance coordination for transit shipments

Applying for the insurance for transit shipments for Import/ Exports/ PAN India.

Reporting damages to the insurance company and following up for survey and documents submissions.

Track claim progress and ensure timely closure within agreed SLAs.

Monthly Submissions of insurance deceleration for local marine policy.

Submission of freight forwarder and transporter bills for payments and updating the records.

Maintaining the records of all logistics cost on day-to-day basis

Act as the single point of contact between internal teams (Operations & Finance) and external insurers

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
