Logistics Coordinator

Position Overview:
Hidrostal North America is seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to support our warehouse, shipping, receiving, and inventory operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, takes pride in accuracy, and is committed to maintaining a safe and organized workplace. The Logistics Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring materials, products, and shipments move efficiently throughout our facility while supporting our operations team and customers.

Duties & Main Responsibilities

Warehouse & Logistics Operations

  • Coordinate daily warehouse activities including picking, staging, packing, and material movement.
  • Support crating and uncrating of pumps, components, and assemblies.

Shipping & Receiving

  • Process shipments, create shipping documentation, schedule carriers, and complete transactions within our ERP system (Odoo).
  • Receive incoming deliveries, verify quantities and condition of materials, and document discrepancies.
  • Verify that goods are received into our ERP system, and that location counts are accurate.

Inventory Management

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and storage locations.
  • Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits.
  • Check inventory crates and pallets to ensure safety in storage area.

Safety & Team Support

  • Follow all warehouse safety procedures and safe material handling practices.
  • Provide support and coverage for warehouse operations as needed.

Qualifications & Experience

  • High school diploma or at least 3 years’ progressive experience in a production environment.
  • Experience in warehouse, logistics, shipping/receiving, or related operations.
  • Forklift experience required (reach & counterbalance); forklift certification preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Basic computer skills and willingness to learn Odoo ERP software.
  • Familiarity with shipping carriers and logistics documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.

Working Conditions

This position will be workshop based. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and other typical shop floor conditions. The noise level in the work environment would be considered typical for a manufacturing environment but may require ear protection at times. Protective eyewear and clothing & shoes appropriate for a typical shop floor environment are required

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk, stand, see and hear. This position is physically active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing at times. The employee may be required to lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds (unassisted) and use lifting devices for larger items. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
