Logistics Dispatcher - Europe Based

We're looking for a skilled Logistics Dispatcher to join our team at At-Desk and support a key European client. In this role, you'll be responsible for sourcing, vetting, and managing transport subcontractors for our client's truck transportation network across Europe. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring a seamless and reliable supply of transport services to meet operational demands.

This is a full-time position with working hours from Monday to Friday, and on alternate Saturdays from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

What You'll Do

Sourcing & Vetting: Find and evaluate new transport subcontractors across various European countries to expand the client's network.

Negotiation & Contract Management: Secure favorable rates and terms with subcontractors. You'll draft, review, and manage contracts to ensure compliance and clear expectations.

Operational Coordination: Act as the main point of contact for subcontractors, ensuring transport requests are efficiently matched and executed.

Performance Monitoring: Track and evaluate subcontractor performance against key metrics to maintain high-quality service.

Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, freight rates, and regulations to identify cost-saving opportunities.

Who We're Looking For

Experienced: You should have a proven background in logistics, procurement, or a related field, with direct experience in sourcing and managing transport subcontractors.

Skilled: Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential. You should be able to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Knowledgeable: You must have a deep understanding of the European road transport market.

Linguistically Proficient: Fluency in English is required.
