Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Logistics – Import & Export Executive to manage end-to-end international logistics operations. The role involves handling import/export documentation, coordinating with customs, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and ensuring timely delivery in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle complete import and export operations including shipment planning, execution, and tracking
• Prepare and verify import/export documentation such as Invoice, Packing List, BL/AWB, COO, BOE, Shipping Bill, etc.
• Coordinate with customs brokers (CHA) for clearance of import and export shipments
• Ensure compliance with DGFT, Customs, FEMA, GST, and EXIM policies
• Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, transporters, and warehouses
• Monitor shipment status and ensure timely delivery to avoid demurrage or detention
• Calculate duties, taxes, freight costs, and maintain cost efficiency
• Maintain proper records of shipments and documentation for audits
• Resolve shipment delays, discrepancies, and customs-related issues
• Coordinate with internal departments such as purchase, sales, finance, and warehouse
• Ensure adherence to company policies and international trade regulations

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of Import & Export procedures
• Familiarity with INCOTERMS, HS Codes, and Customs Tariff
• Experience in dealing with CHA, freight forwarders, and shipping agents
• Good understanding of GST on imports/exports
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems
• Excellent coordination, communication, and negotiation skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business, or Commerce
• Certification in Import & Export / Logistics (preferred)

Preferred Experience

• Experience handling sea and air shipments
• Exposure to export incentives such as RoDTEP, Duty Drawback, EPCG (preferred)
