Job Summary:

We are seeking a Logistics Executive to oversee and streamline logistics operations at our Bangalore head office. The ideal candidate will coordinate supply chain activities, manage logistics partners, and ensure the timely and efficient movement of goods. This role requires strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, along with hands-on experience in logistics, shipping, and inventory management.

Job Description:

As a Logistics Executive, you will be responsible for end-to-end coordination of the supply chain, from sourcing and shipment planning to delivery and performance monitoring. You will collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and carriers to optimize operations, control costs, and ensure service excellence. The role involves supervision of logistics teams, data-driven decision-making, and identifying areas for process improvement and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supply Chain Coordination

• Manage and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and transport partners.

• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless logistics operations.

2. Shipping and Logistics

• Plan, schedule, and track inbound and outbound shipments.

• Negotiate freight rates and logistics contracts to ensure cost efficiency.

• Monitor and direct the flow of goods to ensure on-time delivery.

3. Team Management

• Supervise and guide logistics team members for optimal performance.

• Allocate resources and manage day-to-day team operations.

4. Data Analysis and Reporting

• Extract and analyze performance data to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.

• Prepare regular reports on logistics performance, costs, and delivery timelines.

5. Business Development

• Explore new business opportunities and strategic partnerships in logistics.

• Analyze logistical challenges and recommend effective solutions to optimize operations.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Finance, or related field

Experience:

• 2–4 years of relevant experience in logistics or supply chain management

Skills & Competencies:

• Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret logistics data and drive informed decisions

• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication

• Problem-Solving Skills: Strategic and creative approach to overcoming logistical challenges

• IT Proficiency: Knowledge of logistics and inventory management software
