We are looking for an experienced
Logistics Manager
to oversee and manage end-to-end logistics operations within our fabrication and industrial facilities. The role will be responsible for inbound and outbound logistics, internal material movement, yard and warehouse management, heavy lifting coordination, and project logistics support, while ensuring compliance with HSE standards and operational efficiency.

VP for Internal Operations
Candidates currently based in Bahrain are preferred.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or related field.

Logistics or supply chain certifications (CSCP / CLTD)
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
-
7–12 years of logistics experience, preferably in fabrication, oil & gas manufacturing, steel structures, EPC, or industrial facilities.

Strong understanding of heavy lifting, rigging, crane operations, and steel yard management.

Experience with ERP/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics, etc.).
-
Familiarity with local transport regulations and HSE standards.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Inbound Logistics (Raw Materials & Consumables)
-
Plan and coordinate inbound deliveries of steel plates, sections, pipes, and fabrication consumables.

Work closely with procurement to track PO deliveries, customs clearance, and supplier loading schedules.

Ensure proper receiving, inspection, and documentation of incoming materials.
-
Manage unloading operations, crane movement, and yard allocation.
Internal Facility Logistics

Ensure timely movement of raw materials to fabrication bays (cutting, welding, machining, blasting & painting sections).

Implement internal material flow processes to minimize delays and workstation idle time.
-
Coordinate internal logistics equipment such as forklifts, cranes, trailers, and trolleys.

Manage material staging, segregation, tagging, and traceability for projects.
Outbound Logistics (Finished Goods Dispatch)

Plan dispatch of fabricated structures, skids, modules, tanks, frames, and assemblies.

Manage load-out schedules, packing lists, project documentation, and QA/QC clearance.

Ensure compliance with load securing, rigging standards, and HSE procedures.

Coordinate mobilization of trailers, flatbeds, low beds, and heavy‑transport vehicles.
Yard & Warehouse Management

Oversee steel yard layout, space utilization, stacking method, and stock identification.

Maintain WMS/ERP inventory accuracy (heat numbers, mill certificates, batch codes).

Ensure safe storing and handling of heavy plates, beams, rolls, welding consumables, and paints.

Implement FIFO, stock audits, cycle counts, and scrap yard management.
Heavy Lifting & Transportation Coordination

Coordinate cranes, forklifts, boom trucks, rigging teams, and lifting plans.

Ensure compliance with lifting planning, equipment certification, and operator permits.

Evaluate and manage transporters, rigging contractors, and heavy-lift service providers.
Project Logistics Support

Collaborate with project engineers, planners, and production teams for material requirement planning.

Support logistics for shutdowns, urgent deliveries, project milestones, and client inspections.

Prepare project-specific logistics plans, risk assessments, and method statements.
Cost & Performance Optimization

Track logistics KPIs: delivery performance, yard turnaround, trailer utilization, crane productivity, inventory accuracy.

Optimize internal movement, storage, and transportation costs.
-
Reduce demurrage, detention, and idle equipment time.
Compliance, Safety & Documentation
-
Ensure strict adherence to HSE standards, lifting procedures, and fabrication facility safety norms.

Maintain documentation including GRNs, delivery notes, inspection reports, MTCs, packing lists, and permits.
-
Support internal and external audits.
