Logistics Operations Head

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Logistics Operations Head to oversee and optimize our end-to-end supply chain operations. This leadership role involves developing business opportunities, managing storage and distribution, and ensuring operational excellence across all logistics functions. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of driving growth, improving efficiency, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities through marketing and sales initiatives to achieve turnover and revenue targets.
• Strategically plan and manage logistics, exports/imports, warehousing, transportation, and customer service operations.
• Direct, optimize, and coordinate the full order cycle from procurement to delivery.
• Liaise and negotiate with customers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, transport companies, and suppliers.
• Monitor and track key logistics metrics including quantity, delivery times, transport costs, and operational efficiency.
• Oversee warehouse management, local and international shipments, and ensure smooth processes.
• Resolve operational challenges, complaints, and logistics issues promptly.
• Supervise, coach, and train warehouse and logistics teams to drive performance and productivity.
• Ensure cost-efficiency, accuracy, and timely execution of logistics operations.
• Maintain KPIs, analyze data to assess performance, and implement continuous improvement strategies.
• Ensure compliance with Dubai Customs, Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority (JAFZA) regulations, and all other relevant laws.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Proven working experience as a Logistics Operations Head or in a senior logistics management role.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, distribution, or supply chain management.
• Strong record of success in logistics and distribution management.
• Demonstrable ability to lead, motivate, and manage teams effectively.
• Proficiency in standard logistics and supply chain management software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management (MBA preferred).
