Key Responsibilities:
- Pricing & Quotations
- Prepare competitive freight quotations for air, sea, and surface shipments.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, and transporters for best rates.
- Ensure accurate costing, tariff application, and margin calculations.
- Maintain rate sheets and update pricing database regularly.
- Customer Care & Coordination
- Act as the first point of contact for customer inquiries regarding pricing, shipments, and service updates.
- Manage customer communications, resolve complaints, and provide timely updates.
- Coordinate with operations and sales teams to ensure smooth shipment execution.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships for repeat business.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare and verify shipping documents (B/L, AWB, invoices, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with company and international shipping standards.
- Maintain records of quotations, customer interactions, and service reports.
- Share daily/weekly reports with management on pricing trends and customer issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Commerce, or related field.
- 2 years’ experience in logistics pricing / customer service.
- Knowledge of freight forwarding (air/sea/land), Incoterms, and logistics processes.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Excellent communication (written & verbal) and customer handling skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and logistics ERP/CRM tools.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure.
