Shift: Mid-Shift

Location: Pooler, Georgia

Apollo Security Group is seeking a dependable Logistics Security Officer to join our team! In this role, you will play a critical part in the secure and efficient flow of inbound and outbound truck traffic at a busy logistics hub.

The position is full-time, with a regular schedule of Monday through Friday from 2pm - 10pm (Mid Shift).

Responsibilities:

• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to prevent unauthorized access.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility, including warehouses, docks, and surrounding areas, to identify and address security or safety concerns.
• Oversee and enforce security procedures for shipping and receiving operations, including verification of documentation and inspection of vehicles when required.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies, following established protocols to ensure safety.
• Maintain detailed and accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation.
• Support company policies by enforcing rules and regulations in a professional manner.
• Provide assistance and customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors as needed.
• Collaborate with management and law enforcement, if necessary, during investigations or incidents.

Work Schedule:

• Mid-shift position (2pm - 10pm).
• Flexibility for additional hours, weekends, or holidays may be required.

Qualifications:

· Must be at least 18 years old

· High school diploma or GED

· Valid GA 24HR Certification

· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

· Previous security or logistics experience preferred but not required

· Strong communication and observation skills

· Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and work in outdoor conditions
