Logistics Specialist
Job Summary
- The Logistics Specialist is responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and optimizing the movement of goods, materials, and shipments to ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant delivery. The role works closely with suppliers, transporters, warehouses, and internal stakeholders to support smooth logistics and supply chain operations
- Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments (local and/or international).
- Plan and monitor transportation routes, schedules, and delivery timelines.
- Prepare and review shipping documents (invoices, packing lists, delivery notes, customs documents if applicable).
- Liaise with freight forwarders, transport companies, customs brokers, and suppliers.
- Track shipments and proactively resolve delays, damages, or discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and local/international regulations.
- Monitor logistics costs and support cost optimization initiatives.
- Maintain accurate logistics records and reports in the system.
- Coordinate with warehouse, procurement, sales, and finance teams.
- Support inventory accuracy by aligning deliveries with warehouse capacity and demand.
- Handle customer or internal inquiries related to shipment status.

Participate in continuous improvement of logistics processes
- 2-4 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain roles.
- Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, agriculture, or trading environments is a plus.
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.
- Knowledge of shipping documentation and transport operations.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong problem-solving and follow-up abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
