Logistics Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Logistics Specialist , to be based in Cairo, Egypt, who will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective flow of products from the factory to warehousing all the way to customer delivery, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and driving excellence in our supply chain operations across Egypt.

• Manage the entire order lifecycle to deliver a seamless customer experience, ensuring every product is processed accurately and delivered on time.
• Navigate the full lifecycle of international inbound logistics, collaborating with forwarders and brokers to ensure seamless customs clearance and strict adherence to Egypt’s import/export laws.
• Own end-to-end outbound logistics and local distribution, focusing on smarter routing, faster delivery times, and lean transportation costs.
• Oversee and manage the daily execution of warehouse logistics, covering all aspects of receiving, storage, and dispatch, with a persistent commitment to maintaining a safe, secure, and systematically organized facility.
• Lead inbound and outbound warehouse workflows, ensuring meticulous quality inspections, smart storage solutions, and accurate packing processes to protect product integrity at all times.
• Drive inventory accuracy by implementing tight control measures, conducting regular cycle counts, and swiftly resolving stock discrepancies.
• Track and evaluate Third-Party Logistics (3PLs) and local transport partners, holding them accountable to core KPIs and service level agreements.
• Efficiently troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day operational challenges, ensuring shipping delays, damaged inventory, and order inaccuracies are handled with speed and professionalism.
• Serve as the primary liaison with Karcher’s Regional HQ and international vendors to streamline product ordering, track global shipments, and manage essential logistics documentation.
• Analyze local market sales trends to drive highly accurate demand forecasting and strategic reporting for the Regional Head Office.
• Produce comprehensive logistics reports for cross-functional teams, analyzing everything from inventory levels and slow-moving stock to inbound schedules and freight expenses.

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5+ years of proven experience in logistics, supply chain management, or warehouse operations, ideally within a multinational or fast-paced retail/manufacturing environment.
• Deep understanding of Egypt’s import/export regulations, customs clearance procedures, and local distribution networks.
• Strong proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced MS Excel skills for
• Highly self-motivated and capable of operating independently to meet critical business deadlines.
• Fluency in both written and spoken Arabic and English is required to navigate local operations and international communications.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate seamlessly with regional HQs, local vendors, and internal teams.
• Possessing exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
