Logistics Specialist / Coordinator

Reporting To: Head of Logistics / Operations Manager

Experience Required: 2–3 Years

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist / Coordinator to join a growing logistics team. The role focuses on managing international logistics operations, shipment coordination, and trade compliance while ensuring smooth and cost-effective supply chain activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate international shipments (containerized & break-bulk)
• Communicate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and inspection agencies
• Prepare and manage shipping and customs documentation
• Track shipments and provide regular updates
• Resolve logistics and customs clearance issues efficiently
• Improve logistics processes and operational efficiency
• Coordinate with procurement and sales teams
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and INCOTERMS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or international trade
• Strong knowledge of customs procedures, INCOTERMS, and export/import documentation
• Good command of ERP systems and Microsoft Office
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Fluent English is required; Arabic is a plus
• Experience in food commodities, oils, additives, chemicals, or related industries is preferred
