Loss Control Supervisor

Job description:

  • Conducts risk assessments to identify workplace hazards
  • Implements safety programs and ensures compliance with regulations
  • Investigates incidents (accidents, near-misses, property damage)
  • Trains employees on safety procedures and risk prevention
  • Monitors compliance with standards like Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) or company policies
  • Recommends improvements to reduce operational and financial risks

Skill Set:

  • NFPA 472 Hazardous materials for first responders operations
  • NFPA Firefighting course or equivalent
  • Incident Command qualification
  • NEBOSH certification Preferred Qualification/Certification
  • A recognized National Higher Diploma or equivalent from a recognized University
  • NFPA Fire fighter or similar teaching background or qualification
  • Ambulance Emergency Assistant or EMT equivalent
  • High angle rescue or equivalent qualification
  • Advanced petrochemical firefighting course.

Minimum Experience:

  • 5 Years’ operational experience in an emergency service, preferably in petrochemical and/or oil and gas industry.
  • Demonstrable applied knowledge and experience in the role of an emergency response leader
  • Evidence of Fire Fighting and support capabilities within Oil and Gas Petrochemical Facility

Job Specific Skills:

  • Advance Petrochemical and Oil and Gas Firefighting.
  • HAZMAT Operational Training.
  • Radiation Protection Officer Training

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR15,000.00 - QAR18,000.00 per month
