Job Description

We are looking for an experienced LOTO Coordinator to join our Oil & Gas EPC project team in Qatar. The role is critical in ensuring effective Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) implementation to control hazardous energy and maintain a safe work environment during construction, maintenance, and commissioning activities.

The LOTO Coordinator will work closely with the SHES team, Permit to Work (PTW) authorities, and site operations to ensure full compliance with project and client safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and manage the LOTO program across the project site
• Coordinate with PTW issuers, supervisors, and maintenance teams for safe energy isolation
• Prepare, review, and control LOTO registers, logs, and isolation plans
• Ensure proper application and removal of locks, tags, and isolation devices
• Verify zero-energy state before work commencement
• Conduct LOTO briefings and toolbox talks for site personnel
• Monitor LOTO compliance during SIMOPS, shutdowns, and critical activities
• Report LOTO non-compliance and support corrective actions
• Ensure alignment with client, project, and international safety standards

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Safety, or a related field
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a LOTO Coordinator in Oil & Gas EPC projects
• Strong knowledge of LOTO systems, PTW, SIMOPS, and energy isolation procedures
• Familiarity with client standards (QP / ADNOC / Aramco / Shell – preferred)
• Valid safety certifications (NEBOSH / IOSH – advantage)
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work in site-based, fast-paced project environments
