Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly creative Luxury Automotive Upholstery Designer to design and execute premium interior solutions for high-end vehicles such as Rolls-Royce, Mercedes-Benz, Bentley, G-Class, Brabus, and similar luxury brands. The ideal candidate must combine design expertise, technical upholstery skills, mechanical installation knowledge, and software proficiency to deliver world-class customization projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop luxury automotive upholstery concepts for premium and customized vehicles.
• Create digital designs, layouts, patterns, and visual presentations using professional design software.
• Select and recommend high-quality materials (leather, Alcantara, carbon fiber trims, stitching styles, foams, and accessories).
• Prepare detailed design drawings and installation plans for upholstery and interior modifications.
• Execute and supervise cutting, stitching, wrapping, and fitting of automotive interiors.
• Perform and oversee installation of interior components including seats, door panels, dashboards, consoles, headliners, and trims.
• Apply mechanical knowledge to safely remove, install, and reassemble interior parts without damage.
• Coordinate with technicians, mechanics, and management to ensure precise execution of designs.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure premium finishing and brand-level standards.
• Manage project timelines and ensure customer expectations are met.
• Stay updated with luxury automotive trends, materials, and customization technologies.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or professional certification in Design, Upholstery, Automotive Design, Interior Design, or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in luxury automotive upholstery (UAE or GCC experience preferred).
• Hands-on experience with premium vehicle brands (Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Mercedes, G-Class, Brabus, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of automotive mechanics related to interior installation and modification.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar tools.
• Excellent understanding of upholstery materials, stitching techniques, and finishing standards.
• High attention to detail with a strong sense of luxury aesthetics.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills (Advantageous)

• 3D visualization software experience
• Custom pattern making and advanced stitching
• Knowledge of interior electronics integration
• Experience working with bespoke or custom luxury builds

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
