Job Purpose:
To operate production machinery and equipment efficiently, ensuring the high-quality manufacturing of nicotine pouches while adhering to operational standards and safety protocols. This role is essential for maintaining smooth production processes and meeting quality and performance targets.
Functional Accountabilities:
Machine Operation and Process Monitoring

Operate production machinery and equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure smooth and accurate manufacturing of nicotine pouches.

Monitor and adjust machine settings and parameters to enhance production efficiency, minimize downtime, and ensure that products meet quality specifications.
Quality Control

Perform regular inspections and checks throughout the production process to ensure that all products adhere to established quality standards and specifications.

Identify any deviations or defects in the production process and take corrective actions to rectify issues, maintaining high-quality output
Safety Compliance

Follow all safety protocols and procedures strictly to ensure a safe working environment. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly and adhere to safety guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.

Report any safety hazards or incidents promptly to the appropriate personnel, ensuring that safety measures are continuously enforced and updated as necessary.
Maintenance Support

Provide support in the maintenance and troubleshooting of production equipment. Perform basic maintenance tasks, report any equipment malfunctions, and collaborate with the maintenance team to address issues and minimize downtime.

Conduct routine checks and minor repairs on machinery to ensure continuous and reliable operation, assisting in preventing major breakdowns.
Documentation and Reporting

Keep detailed and accurate records of all production activities, including machine performance, production volumes, and any issues encountered during the manufacturing process.

Document and report production data and anomalies in a timely manner, ensuring that records are up-to-date and accessible for review by supervisors and quality assurance teams.
Education, Experience:

Minimum 1 year of experience as an operator or in a relevant field.

A Diploma in Manufacturing and Operations or an equivalent qualification.
