Machine Shop Supervisor

Duties & Responsibilities

· Ensure safety implementation

· Proper filing and documentation of all fabrication-related documents such as requests, drawings and reports

· Safekeeping and accounting of all machines and other tools

· Follow-up pending material requests

· Familiarization and maintenance of the machines

· Maintain good quality of fabricated materials and according to the specifications required

· Make sure that materials, fabricated materials/parts, are being checked before receipt and issuance

· Discuss/report to the manager any problem regarding the shop

· Make sure that correct items are being requested, withdrawn or delivered

. Make sure that the items being requested are being fabricated and delivered on time

· Improvements in the cycle times of routine administrative tasks

· Defect-free fabricated parts/materials

· Maximize machine and labor utilization

· Cost effectiveness

· Time frame achievement

· Performance assessment from the manager

· Safety Aspects

. Internal ISO Audit (Office Filing and Documentation)

· University/College Graduate, Preferably Mechanical Engineering Graduate

. Good in both written and verbal English communications, Arabic is a plus

Function specific experience

· Proper documentation, quality assurance and control

· Microsoft Office Applications

· Fabrication Tasks

Industry related experience

· Manufacturing / Service-Related Industries

Years of experience

Minimum 5 years of related experience after graduation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs250,000.00 - Rs350,000.00 per month
