Position Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled and reliable Machinery Operator with experience in operating tube mill machinery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tube mill operations, including machine setup, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality tubes while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Machine Operation: Operate and monitor tube mill equipment to ensure the production of high-quality tubes within specified tolerances and production schedules.
• Setup and Adjustment: Set up and adjust tube mill machinery, ensuring proper alignment, speed, and parameters for optimal performance.
• Quality Control: Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Make adjustments to machinery as needed to correct deviations.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve any mechanical or operational issues that may arise during production, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on tube mill machinery, including cleaning, lubrication, and replacing worn or damaged parts to ensure smooth operation.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Report any safety hazards or concerns promptly.
• Documentation: Keep accurate records of production outputs, machine settings, maintenance activities, and any issues encountered during the shift.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including maintenance personnel and supervisors, to ensure smooth production processes and efficient workflow.
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in ongoing training and development to stay updated on the latest tube mill technologies, techniques, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience operating tube mill machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of tube mill processes, machinery, and techniques, including machine setup, operation, and troubleshooting.
• Mechanical Skills: Proficient in mechanical troubleshooting and repair, with the ability to identify and address machine malfunctions quickly.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to monitor production closely and make adjustments to ensure quality standards are met.
• Safety Conscious: Knowledge of safety protocols and a strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods. Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment.
• Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address operational challenges and improve production efficiency.
• Communication Skills: Good verbal communication skills to interact effectively with team members and supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (technical certifications or training in machinery operation is a plus).
• Advanced Knowledge: Familiarity with advanced tube mill technologies, including automated systems and process controls.
• Experience with Specific Machinery: Experience with specific tube mill brands or models may be a plus, depending on the company’s equipment.
