Maintenance engineers ensure that industrial machinery and equipment runs smoothly and reliably. You may be called out to deal with a breakdown or inspect equipment as part of a maintenance schedule.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive maintenance plans and schedules to optimize plant operations and minimize downtime.

Supervise maintenance technicians in charge of repairing production machines and equipment

Inspect breakdowns and develop engineering solutions to repetitive failures and all problems that could affect plant operations

Manage maintenance tools and equipment before production to ensure optimum level of safety and efficiency

Examine Machines’ remaining useful life, Asset utilization and overall equipment effectiveness

Support in the implementation of preventive maintenance program

Control maintenance tools, stores and equipment

Assure Value Adding Maintenance activities and ensure compliance with statutory maintenance requirements

Spare part warehouse and inventory management

Manage all cascaded KPIs from maintenance manager such as maintenance cost, safety and quality KPIs

Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations

Manage, lead and motivate a multi-skilled technicians group in an empowered team-based environment, ensuring full engagement of team members, to meet company requirements regarding safety and quality.

Ensuring the spare parts availability by purchasing all needed spare parts and maintenance consumables.

Ensure timely completion of all corrective and preventive actions to avoid repeats of Service and Quality defects, and all audit non-conformances.

Contributes to Engineering Projects in assigned area to ensure that maintainability, clear scope, cost effectiveness, and safety requirements are delivered

Utilize automation tools and software for predictive maintenance, remote monitoring, and data analysis to enhance maintenance efficiency and effectiveness.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.

3+ Proven experience in maintenance engineering within a manufacturing or industrial setting, preferably in the FMCG industry and an automated environment.

Strong knowledge of maintenance planning and scheduling principles.

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
