Key Responsibilities:

Preventive & Corrective Maintenance

• Support in performing scheduled preventive maintenance on CNC cutting, drilling, and welding machines (e.g., plasma, beam lines, saws, and robotic welding stations).
• Assist in responding to equipment breakdowns and help in troubleshooting and repairing machines under supervision.
• Ensure basic housekeeping and safety standards are followed during maintenance work.

Diagnostics & Troubleshooting

• Learn to identify and diagnose simple mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Support senior engineers in using technical manuals, drawings, and software tools for diagnostics.

Performance & Improvement

• Report recurrent machine faults to the maintenance engineer.
• Suggest small improvements to reduce downtime and improve equipment performance.

Documentation & Compliance

• Record maintenance activities and spare part usage in CMMS or maintenance log sheets.
• Follow company safety, quality, and environmental procedures at all times.

Coordination

• Coordinate with production operators before and after maintenance tasks.
• Communicate effectively with the maintenance team regarding spare parts and tools needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.

Experience:

• 0–2 years of experience in maintenance of CNC or industrial machinery (experience in a steel fabrication environment is a plus).

Technical Skills:

• Basic understanding of CNC machine operation and components.
• Familiarity with PLCs and control systems (Fanuc, Siemens, or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Ability to read basic mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Eagerness to learn preventive maintenance practices and CMMS systems.

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to work shifts and support emergency maintenance.
• Good command of English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
