Salary: ₹12,000 – ₹15,000 per month (Depending on experience & performance)

Job Summary

The Maintenance Executive will be responsible for maintaining company premises, vehicles, equipment, and coordinating all repair and maintenance activities to ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the logistics business.

Key Responsibilities1. Office & Premises Maintenance

• Ensure proper maintenance of office, godown, warehouse, and yard area
• Electrical, plumbing, lighting, fans, AC, and general repairs
• Coordinate with external vendors for maintenance work
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards

2. Vehicle & Fleet Support

• Coordinate routine maintenance of trucks, tempos, and company vehicles
• Track servicing schedules, breakdown repairs, and preventive maintenance
• Coordinate with mechanics, garages, and service centers
• Ensure vehicles are roadworthy and compliant with safety norms

3. Equipment & Asset Maintenance

• Maintain office equipment (computers, printers, generators, inverters, CCTV, etc.)
• Report faults and arrange repairs/replacements
• Maintain asset maintenance records

4. Vendor & Cost Control

• Coordinate with electricians, plumbers, mechanics, and other service vendors
• Get quotations and ensure cost-effective repairs
• Monitor maintenance expenses and reduce breakdown costs

5. Compliance & Safety

• Ensure safety norms are followed at workplace and yard
• Assist in fire safety, electrical safety, and emergency preparedness
• Report hazards and take corrective actions

6. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain maintenance logs and service records
• Prepare daily/weekly maintenance reports
• Inform management about major issues and repairs

7. Additional Responsibilities

• Support operations team when required
• Any other work assigned by management related to maintenance & operations

Skills & Requirements

• Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and civil maintenance
• Experience in logistics / transport / warehouse maintenance preferred
• Ability to coordinate with vendors and service providers
• Problem-solving and quick response to breakdowns
• Honest, responsible, and hardworking
