Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Maintenance Executive to oversee and coordinate maintenance activities across our facilities. In this vital role, you will ensure that all equipment, systems, and infrastructure operate smoothly, safely, and efficiently. Your leadership will help maintain a safe environment, reduce downtime, and support operational excellence. Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and supervise routine maintenance tasks for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose equipment issues using schematics, electrical diagrams, and testing tools such as ohmmeters to identify root causes quickly.
- Perform repairs involving welding, electrical troubleshooting, mechanical adjustments, and facilities maintenance to minimize operational disruptions.
- Oversee the use of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for automation systems to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and asset histories.
- Supervise a team of technicians and contractors, providing guidance on safety protocols, technical procedures, and quality standards.
- Conduct inspections of residential painting projects or other facility upgrades to ensure high standards of workmanship and safety compliance.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience for troubleshooting complex systems.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical diagrams essential for effective repairs and installations.
- Hands-on experience with welding techniques and residential painting is a plus.
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices within manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance planning and record keeping.
- Supervising experience demonstrating leadership capabilities in managing teams or contractors.
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and vendors.
- Ability to operate testing tools such as ohmmeters confidently for electrical diagnostics.
- Fluency in English for clear communication across teams and documentation purposes.
