Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Maintenance HOD to lead and manage all maintenance operations within the facility. The candidate will ensure seamless functioning of plant equipment and utilities through effective preventive and breakdown maintenance strategies, with strong expertise in PLC-controlled systems.

Objectives of the Role

• Ensure seamless operation of plant facilities and equipment through efficient maintenance management.
• Function as a repair manager and implement periodic inspections and preventive maintenance schedules for all machinery.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and statutory regulations during maintenance execution.
• Lead, train, guide, and evaluate the maintenance team.
• Continuously upgrade knowledge of modern maintenance practices, new technologies, and automation systems, and implement relevant improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all maintenance and repair activities across the facility.
• Handle troubleshooting and breakdown maintenance of Electrical, PLC, Mechanical, and Hydraulic systems.
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance plans.
• Supervise machine health, recommend upgrades, and ensure equipment reliability.
• Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and cost control.
• Prepare and submit maintenance reports covering performance, budgets, downtime analysis, and schedules to management.
• Ensure compliance with Indian safety regulations and statutory norms.
• Identify process improvements to enhance equipment efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Coordinate with production and other departments to minimize operational disruptions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Mandatory).
• 5–6 years of experience in maintenance, with at least 2+ years in a leadership/supervisory role.
• Strong hands-on experience in PLC troubleshooting and programming (Mandatory).
• Practical experience in Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic systems, and plant equipment.
• Expertise in preventive maintenance planning and breakdown analysis.
• Experience in handling maintenance budgets, reporting, and scheduling.
• Strong knowledge of Indian safety standards and industrial compliance.
• Leadership skills with the ability to manage and train maintenance staff.
• Good documentation and reporting skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in manufacturing/industrial setup.
• Knowledge of automation systems and control panels.
• Root cause analysis (RCA) capability.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage emergencies effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,151.25 - ₹65,131.29 per month
