Position Overview
The Maintenance Manager will oversee the maintenance, reliability, and continuous improvement of robotic systems, metalizing equipment, and supporting infrastructure. This role ensures maximum equipment uptime, safety compliance, and cost-effective operations while leading a skilled technical team.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance Planning & Execution
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for robotic and metalizing machinery.
- Ensure timely troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Minimize downtime through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Team Leadership
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of technicians and engineers.
- Allocate resources effectively to meet production and maintenance priorities.
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Technical Expertise
- Oversee maintenance of robotic arms, automation systems, conveyors, and metalizing equipment (thermal spray, vacuum metallization, etc.).
- Collaborate with OEMs and vendors for specialized repairs and upgrades.
- Maintain documentation of equipment manuals, SOPs, and maintenance logs.
- Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
- Implement and monitor lockout/tagout procedures and risk assessments.
- Support audits and certifications related to plant operations.
- Continuous Improvement
- Drive initiatives for energy efficiency, cost reduction, and process optimization.
- Introduce Industry 4.0 practices such as predictive analytics and IoT-enabled monitoring.
- Recommend capital investments for equipment modernization.
- Coordination
- Work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to align maintenance with operational goals.
- Manage spare parts inventory and vendor relationships.
- Prepare reports on maintenance KPIs (MTTR, MTBF, downtime, etc.).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- 8–12 years of experience in industrial maintenance, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role.
- Hands-on experience with robotics, automation, and metalizing processes.
- Strong knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, and industrial control systems.
- Familiarity with TPM, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹85,000.00 per month
