Maintenance Mechanic III - Electrian

Overview
The Lindenhurst Union Free School District is seeking a Full Time Maintenance Mechanic III - Electrician.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicant performs skilled craftsman level maintenance and repairs in the area of low and high voltage electrical systems, electrical appliances, motors and controls, switches, relays, breaker panels; lays out and installs new wiring systems. Good knowledge of the methods, materials, tools and practices of the trade areas to which the incumbent is assigned. Skilled in the care and use of the standard tools and equipment of the trade area concerned. Applicant is expected to exercise some independent judgement in determining materials and methods to be used in performing assignments, but all work is subject to supervision and inspection by assigned supervisory personnel. Must be able to interpret and work from rough sketches, blueprints, assembly diagrams, operating instructions and parts manuals. Work assignments are received in the form of oral and/or written instructions. Does related work as required.

Pay: $58,829.00 per year
