Maintenance and Project Engineer will apply engineering expertise to lead and manage complex projects for our Turkey plant, using knowledge of Ecolab’s global engineering standards. This role will ensure that all projects comply with design criteria and meet cost, safety, and quality objectives. As a key technical leader, Maintenance and Project Engineer will drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure successful implementation of global engineering practices at the plant.

What You Will Do:
Provide Maintenance and Safety Support:
• Develop and implement the plant’s maintenance programs according to global standards.
• Design and apply ERP, Scada, and PLC systems to improve operational efficiency.
• Establish necessary documentation systems to support maintenance and safety practices.
• Lead training and audits for global process safety teams.
Manage the Maintenance Department:
• Oversee the maintenance team’s agenda, training, and development plans.
• Create and manage the maintenance and repair budget.
• Implement systematic infrastructure to support maintenance management.
• Monitor compliance with periodic and legal inspections.
• Manage spare parts and equipment suppliers for enhanced reliability.
Transfer and Adapt Global Engineering Standards:
• Implement global process safety requirements in the Turkey plant.
• Organize the plant’s operations to align with global engineering standards, including ERP integration, documentation, training, and software systems.
• Collaborate with global roles and other sites to benchmark and transfer potential improvement projects.
Following Engineering Projects in Turkey:
• Execute technical design and implementation of investment projects aligned with global standards and local requirements.
• Drive factory improvement and development projects to optimize operations, with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Conduct supplier research and negotiations for project procurement needs.
• Manage budget approval processes and oversee project expenditures.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic, or Mechatronic Engineering.
• 4+ years of experience in engineering project management within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong experience in maintenance and team leadership
• Knowledge of CAPEX budgeting and project control.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
• Experience in commissioning standards such as IQ-OQ-PQ, with strong documentation skills.
• Familiarity with ATEX equipment and GMP practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Extensive experience in the chemical manufacturing industry, particularly with hazardous materials.
• Expertise in designing and commissioning equipment for chemical plants, including mixer systems, storage tanks, and process automation.
• Strong understanding of safety risks and hazard assessments (HAZOP, FMEA) for chemical operations.
• Knowledge of critical equipment design and criteria for chemical facilities, such as PLC, Scada systems, and other automation solutions.
