Maintenance Technician

Role Overview:
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the upkeep and smooth functioning of all electrical, plumbing, and basic facility systems. The ideal candidate should have a Diploma in Electrical (preferred) and hands-on maintenance experience in resorts, hotels, or facility management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems, lighting, wiring, and fixtures.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems as needed.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests or management.
• Maintain records of repairs, maintenance activities, and inventory of tools/spares.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company standards.
• Coordinate with vendors/contractors for specialized repairs.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering (preferred) or ITI in Electrical/related trade.
• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in maintenance (hospitality/real estate preferred).
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to work independently and handle emergency repairs.
• Good communication skills in Tamil and basic English.

Compensation:

• ₹18,000 – ₹20,000 per month (depending on experience).
• Food and accommodation can be provided for outstation candidates.

Work Location:

• Varuna Inn Resorts / Facilities, Mahabalipuram / Neelankarai.
