To be responsible, under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, for the overall Maintenance and physical appearance of the Properties managed by the Company, and to assist the Maintenance Supervisor in keeping the Office informed on the status of the property repairs using advanced scheduling system. Property Management experience or Apartment Community maintenance required.
DUTIES
- Performing maintenance requests to include A/C repairs, electrical repairs, appliance repairs and plumbing repairs. Replace broken windowpanes, tiles, screens, locks, outer fixtures, A/C units etc. Perform carpentry work, masonry and fencing.
- Maintaining proper records regarding preventive maintenance, service requests, inventories and perform scheduled maintenance as recommended.
- Assist in grounds maintenance.
- Performing turn processes in vacant apartments.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- HVAC Certification preferred but not necessary.
- Experience in general maintenance, electrical, plumbing and carpentry repairs.
- Ability to work rotating weekends - approximately two weekends (Saturday and Sunday) per month on an emergency/on call basis
