We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our multifamily housing community. The ideal candidate is a motivated professional with experience in apartment maintenance, strong troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to residents.

Position Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the physical condition of the property, completing service requests, performing preventative maintenance, and assisting with unit turns to ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained community.

Essential Responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, drywall, flooring, and other building systems.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents, including repairs, painting, cleaning, and inspections.
• Conduct preventative maintenance throughout the property.
• Assist with maintaining community amenities, common areas, and grounds.
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls as needed.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work and materials used.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with residents and team members.

Qualifications

• Previous apartment maintenance, residential maintenance, or related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, and general carpentry.
• HVAC certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to diagnose maintenance issues and complete repairs independently.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation, if required.

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
