Maintenance Technician

Duties

• Conduct regular inspections of machinery, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and electrical equipment to identify potential issues before they escalate.
• Perform repairs on appliances, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), and other mechanical systems using schematics and technical manuals.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical problems, utilizing your knowledge of schematics, electrical wiring, and system diagnostics.
• Maintain and repair building infrastructure including air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, plumbing fixtures, and construction-related equipment.
• Lead small maintenance projects or assist in larger construction or renovation efforts to improve facility functionality.
• Document all maintenance activities accurately in logs and reports; ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Provide guidance or mentorship to junior technicians or service team members when necessary.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or related fields.
• Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams effectively.
• Hands-on experience with equipment repair, troubleshooting electrical issues, and performing preventative maintenance.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems—including air conditioning units—and refrigeration technology is highly desirable.
• Construction experience or familiarity with building infrastructure maintenance is a plus.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail; able to follow safety protocols diligently. Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
