Maintenance Technician

Overview
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the safe and efficient operation of our tortilla manufacturing facility. This hands-on role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to minimize downtime and ensure consistent product quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on production, packaging, and conveying equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to support continuous production.
• Read and interpret schematics, manuals, and technical drawings.
• Maintain maintenance records and communicate equipment issues to management.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial maintenance, food manufacturing, or production environments preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work with conveyors, motors, pumps, bearings, and packaging equipment.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and safety practices.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
