Maintenance Technician

Job Responsibilities: As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our residents enjoy a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained living environment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting routine maintenance tasks, such as plumbing repairs, electrical work, HVAC maintenance, and appliance repairs.
• Responding promptly to maintenance requests from residents and addressing issues efficiently.
• Performing preventative maintenance to identify and address potential problems before they escalate.
• Conducting inspections and completing maintenance checklists to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Assisting with unit turnovers by preparing vacant apartments for new residents.
• Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory levels.

Qualifications: To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• Previous experience in maintenance, preferably in a residential setting.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, and general maintenance techniques.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve maintenance issues independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Availability to respond to maintenance emergencies outside of regular working hours on occasion.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
