Maintenance Technician

Duties

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, including HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) units, refrigeration systems, and electrical equipment.
• Diagnose and repair appliances, mechanical systems, and equipment failures promptly to minimize downtime.
• Read schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints to troubleshoot issues accurately.
• Conduct HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration) repairs and service to ensure optimal climate control.
• Lead small maintenance projects or construction tasks as needed, coordinating with other team members or contractors.
• Maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities for compliance and future reference.
• Respond swiftly to emergency maintenance requests to ensure safety and operational continuity.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or related fields.
• Mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to interpret schematics and technical diagrams.
• Hands-on experience with equipment repair, electrical troubleshooting, and general maintenance tasks.
• Knowledge of construction practices is a plus for minor installation or renovation projects.
• Ability to operate tools safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
• Leadership qualities with the ability to prioritize tasks independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail to diagnose issues accurately.
