Maintenance Technician

Duties

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, appliances, and other mechanical equipment to ensure peak performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair a variety of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems using schematics and technical manuals.
• Conduct appliance repairs and service technician tasks efficiently to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to diagnose issues accurately.
• Lead small maintenance projects or construction tasks, coordinating with team members or contractors as needed.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to ensure safety and continuous operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or general equipment maintenance.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and technical diagrams confidently.
• Service technician experience is highly desirable; familiarity with troubleshooting complex systems is essential.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, and related mechanical components.
• Ability to perform equipment repair tasks efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
• Construction experience or familiarity with building systems is a plus.
