Maintenance Technician

Plumbing Supply House & Showroom | Full-Time

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to support the daily upkeep and operational integrity of our plumbing supply warehouse and showroom. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who takes pride in keeping a facility clean, safe, and running smoothly. You'll work across both our customer-facing showroom and our warehouse/distribution areas.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on facility equipment, HVAC systems, lighting, plumbing fixtures, and electrical systems
• Maintain the showroom in pristine, display-ready condition — including fixture cleaning, display upkeep, and minor repairs
• Conduct regular inspections of the warehouse, loading dock, and exterior grounds; identify and address hazards or maintenance needs
• Perform minor carpentry, painting, patching, and general building repairs as needed
• Coordinate with and assist outside contractors and vendors for larger repair projects
• Manage and maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
• Handle snow removal, landscaping upkeep, and parking lot maintenance as needed
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from showroom and warehouse staff
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company policies

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in building or facility maintenance (commercial experience preferred)
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems
• Familiarity with plumbing products and fixtures is a strong plus
• Ability to operate basic hand tools, power tools, and light equipment
• Strong attention to detail, especially in maintaining an upscale customer showroom environment
• Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks independently
• Valid driver's license required
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical tasks including bending, kneeling, and climbing ladders

Schedule & Compensation

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, with occasional weekend availability
• Pay: Competitive hourly rate based on experience
