Purpose of the role:
The Demi Chef de Partie is responsible for supervising staff and ensuring high levels of food preparation in order to deliver high quality food. He is also responsible to assist with food cost controls.
Key Areas of Responsibilities:
· To ensure that all food preparation meets standards
· Prepare and present high quality food
· Supervise the staff
· Keep all working areas clean and tidy and ensure no cross contamination
· Ensure food stuffs are of a good quality and stored correctly
· Contribute to controlling costs, improving gross profit margins, and other departmental and financial targets
· Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships
· Assist Head Chef/Sous Chef in the training of all staff in compliance of company procedures
· Report maintenance, hygiene and hazard issues
· Comply with company security, fire regulations and all health and safety and food safety legislation
· Ensure the consistency in the preparation of all food items
· Actively share ideas, opinions and suggestions in daily shift briefings
· Ensure all kitchen colleagues are aware of standards and expectations
· Continually strive to improve food preparation and presentations
· Have full knowledge of all menu items, daily features and promotions
· Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils, and equipment
· Follow kitchen policies, procedures and service standards
· Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
· Other duties as assigned
Professional Requirements:
· Minimum of a High School Certificate or equivalent.
· Minimum 4 years’ experience as Demi Chef de Partie.
· Must have excellent time management skills.
· Ability to act on own initiative and handle stress well
Interpersonal Requirements:
· Ability to manage and prioritize
· Ability to meet deadlines
· Adaptable to various competing demands
· Be environmentally aware

Salary: AED 4,200.00 /month
