The MTO – CVSS will support the overall operational, administrative, and field-related functions of the Community & Vocational Support Services department. The role is designed to groom fresh graduates into future professionals by exposing them to community outreach, student support, documentation, reporting, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Key ResponsibilitiesA. Outreach & Community Engagement

  • Assist in planning and conducting outreach activities in surrounding communities.
  • Support in mobilizing potential trainees and promoting THF programs.
  • Participate in school visits, community sessions, and awareness events.

B. Student Support & Case Handling

  • Assist in the student induction process including documentation, screening, and registration.
  • Support in managing student cases related to attendance, discipline, counseling, and academic progress.
  • Coordinate with faculty, admin, and other departments for timely resolution of student issues.

C. Data Management & Reporting

  • Maintain updated databases for outreach, inductions, alumni tracking, and follow-ups.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly reports as required by the line manager.
  • Ensure proper record keeping of student files, assessments, and case notes.

D. Coordination & Facilitation

  • Coordinate with vocational training partners, NGOs, schools, and community leaders.
  • Facilitate sessions, orientations, and community-based activities.
  • Assist in organizing events, seminars, and activities for students.

E. Administrative Support

  • Assist the CVSS team with day-to-day administrative tasks.
  • Ensure timely communication with students, parents, and relevant stakeholders.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Education, Business Administration, Development Studies, or a related discipline.

Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in communities and conduct field activities.
  • Good command of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Report writing and documentation skills.
  • Ability to multitask and meet timelines.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
