Management Trainee ( Tax and corporate)

As a Management Trainee in the Tax and Corporate Department, you will support experienced professionals in delivering high-quality tax advisory, compliance, and corporate secretarial services to clients. This entry-level role is designed to offer hands-on experience and structured training in tax laws, corporate governance, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate is a recent graduate with a strong academic background, keen interest in tax and corporate matters, and a commitment to developing a career in professional services. If you have 1 year and 6 months of relevant experience, even better!

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and filing of corporate and individual tax returns in accordance with relevant laws and deadlines.
• Support in the preparation of documentation for tax audits, assessments, and correspondence with tax authorities.
• Conduct basic research on tax legislation, double tax treaties, and corporate compliance issues.
• Draft and file statutory documents with local authorities (e.g., company incorporation, changes in company structure, annual filings).
• Maintain organized records of client files and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
• Participate in client meetings and take notes or follow up on required documentation or data.
• Monitor deadlines and assist in the tracking of filing and payment obligations.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Legal, Finance, Audit) to ensure coordinated service delivery.
• Take part in training programs and seminars to develop tax, legal, and business knowledge.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's in Commerce
• 1 year and 6 months of relevant experience (preferred but not required).
• Strong interest in tax, legal compliance, or corporate governance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Good analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a professional environment.

Pay: Rs25,000.00 - Rs30,000.00 per month
