Management Trainee Officer (MTO) – Architect

We are seeking motivated Management Trainee Officers (MTOs) to join our established team at our Islamabad office. This role offers hands-on training in property evaluation, real estate development, and compliance with global standards.

Key Responsibilities:

As an MTO, you will:

We are focusing on specific boroughs within London to build a pipeline of new property opportunities from the 32 boroughs. The role involves identifying and analyzing properties listed on various property portals, aligning feasibilities, and compiling recent comparable sale prices on a quick turnaround basis. The candidate will work closely with the team to identify investment opportunities and assist in the early stages of development planning.

● Architectural Evaluation: Demonstrate a thorough understanding of UK building styles and architectural differences, including age, design era, size, character, location, and condition.

● Learn to conduct property evaluations using methods such as the compiling data for Comparable Approach, Income Approach, and Residual Valuation Method in accordance with RICS standards. Gain knowledge of RICS Valuation Standards (Red Book) and their applications.

● Identify opportunities for refurbishment, redevelopment, or conversion based on property characteristics.

● Researching on planning policies, recent decisions and precedents set by local authorities and the planning inspectorate, producing a case to justify your proposal

● Assist in preparing feasibility studies for creating new dwellings and converting properties into residential flats while ensuring compliance with London Plan and local council guidelines in accordance with RIBA standards. Support in preparing feasibility reports and project briefs for internal and client presentations. Assist in coordinating with architects, planners, and consultants to streamline the design and planning process. Contribute to development feasibility reports and project presentations.

● Concept Design Preparation: Collaborate on concept design work for potential projects, including site layout, space optimization, and initial architectural designs.Prepare the specification of works, ensuring alignment with project goals and client expectations.

● Collaborate with senior team members on architectural layouts, for development projects.

● Work on-site in a collaborative environment to support ongoing development and property management tasks,

Who We're Looking For:

We welcome candidates who:

● Are pursuing or have recently completed a degree in Architecture (B.Arch) from a recognized institution.

● Have a strong academic record, particularly in areas related to urban design, valuation, or development.

● Show a keen interest in property valuation, development, and real estate.

● Possess strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

● Have basic knowledge of real estate principles, valuation methods, or building regulations.

● Are proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit, GIS tools, MS Excel, and other relevant software.

● Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.

● Ability to work on a caseload, prioritising tasks and executing tasks efficiently
