JOB PURPOSE
Ensuring the highest standard of service delivery and the project execution and to manage contracts between BIA and Contractors, Suppliers, and Consultants, covering all phases of contract management - prequalification, tendering, and commercial activities such as tender preparation and evaluation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare various types of contracts, including Consultancy, Construction, Services, and Supply/Installation, ensuring value for money through effective tendering and evaluation processes.
- Ensure project invoicing aligns with contract terms and conditions and oversee cost/value reporting and end-life forecasting in compliance with organizations policies.
- Chair contractual meetings with contractors and recommend settlements for claims within contractual terms.
- Apply risk management techniques across all projects; administer change control procedures and manage variations, amendments, and claims per contract conditions.
- Ensure timely issuance of all contractual certifications by Project Managers as required under the contract.
- Facilitate negotiations with stakeholders to establish favourable contract terms that ensure project success while mitigating risks.
- Track performance metrics and ensure compliance with all contractual obligations, providing regular updates to senior management on project milestones and deliverables.
- Serve as the primary contact for all contract-related inquiries, ensuring clear and effective communication with all parties involved.
- Assist in resolving disputes between parties by providing guidance on contractual obligations and facilitating discussions to reach amicable solutions.
EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering or an equivalent major in the related field.- Certification of Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Project Manager (CPM), Lean Six Sigma, and/or Quantity Surveying.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 6 years of experience in Contracts Administration or Engineering.
