Competitive Intelligence Manager with 5–8 years of experience in equity research, corporate finance, or investment analysis, ideally covering automotive, tourism, food & beverage, biotech, or media sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in assessing the financial performance of both listed and privately held companies, interpreting strategic moves, and identifying implications for Abu Dhabi’s leadership. A CFA charter or candidacy is highly preferred. This role is central in supporting strategic decision-making through data-driven intelligence and concise financial storytelling.
The Competitive Intelligence Manager will be responsible for:
- Analyze the financial and strategic performance of companies across selected sectors, including both public and private entities.
- Develop comparative and trend-based insights on profitability, growth strategy, capital structure, and shareholder dynamics.
- Produce high-quality, executive-level reports and briefings that translate complex financial data into actionable insights for H.E. the Chairman.
- Track major transactions (IPOs, M&A, JV), capital market signals, and investment trends relevant to Abu Dhabi’s strategic sectors.
- Contribute to benchmarking, valuation assessments, and deep dives on industry champions and disruptors.
- Support the team’s mission to deliver timely, concise, and actionable intelligence that reflects financial reality and strategic intent.
Information Security related
- Understand, adopt, adhere and practice responsibilities or controls as per ADGM Information Security policy and as per best practices explained in the induction and awareness sessions.
- Confidentiality, Integrity and availability of the ADGM Information shall be maintained at all times i.e. within as well as outside ADGM.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or Master’s preferred.
- CFA designation (charterholder or Level II/III candidate) is highly preferred.
Work Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in equity research, investment banking, private equity, or a strategic finance role.
- Strong track record of analytical output in one or more of the following sectors: automotive, tourism, food & beverage, biotech, or media.
- Experience preparing materials for senior executives or government stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of valuation techniques, financial modeling, and performance benchmarking.
- Familiarity with financial data platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, LSEG Workspace, Capital IQ) and corporate filings.

- Superior writing, briefing, and presentation capabilities.
