You will be responsible for
Job Summary:
Manage a team of quantity surveyors to deliver Property Store Development budget, while maintaining high-quality standards and
meeting project objectives. Responsible for developing & delivering long terms cost management vision, and collaborating with various
project partners involved.
In this job, I’m accountable for:

Cost Control & Approval Governance:
Monitoring and managing Property Store Development spend with a variation of less than 2%
Identify the trends and patterns to drive cost efficiency
Highlight the insights & risks from cost report to Property Approval Governance.
Build capability:
Set clear objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the cost management team
Recruit, train, and mentor a team of quantity surveyors.
Assign responsibilities, set priorities, and monitor team performance.
Foster an inclusive and results-oriented high performance team culture.
Supplier Experience:
Oversee the negotiation with suppliers, contractors, and vendors to manage the budget efficiently.
Periodically share supplier compliance and performance feedback with procurement.
Risk Management:
Identify potential risks related to project costs and develop mitigation strategies. Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions,
and regulatory changes affecting cost management.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure that cost management processes and procedures are consistent and comply with industry standards.

Bachelor’s Degree in civil engineering with minimum 15+ years of

Conceptual Application in business context
Experience in construction management preferred
