Manager - Data Analyst

Overview

Data, Reporting & Infrastructure

  • Own and maintain all data pipelines supporting paid media reporting and analytics, ensuring reliability, scalability, and accuracy.
  • Manage and validate data integrations via APIs across media platforms, analytics tools, and visualization environments.
  • Oversee dashboard development and maintenance, ensuring client-facing visualizations are fully accurate, up to date, and aligned with agreed KPIs.
  • Act as the primary quality-control owner for all data outputs, proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies or errors.
  • Work closely with activation and ad operations teams to ensure correct backend trafficking, tagging, and tracking implementation across all campaigns.

Planning & Performance Reporting Management

  • Own and manage the client’s Annual Media Planning Document, which includes yearly KPIs which is monitored and reported monthly to the client.
  • Ensure KPIs are consistently reflected across planning documents, dashboards, and performance reports.
  • Maintain historical performance benchmarks and ensure year-on-year comparability.

First-Party Data & CDP Enablement

  • Act as support for the client’s Customer Data Platform (CDP), ensuring first-party data is effectively leveraged across paid media.
  • Support the activation, measurement, and optimization of first-party and audience-based media strategies.
  • Translate complex first-party data outputs into actionable insights for planners and client stakeholders.
  • Ensure data governance, consistency, and best practices are upheld when using customer data in paid media environments.

Responsibilities

Technical & Product

  • Strong, hands-on understanding of paid media platforms and ecosystems.
  • Proven experience working with:
    • APIs and data integrations
    • Data pipelines
    • Visualization tools and dashboards
    • Trafficking, tagging, and tracking frameworks
  • Advanced, professional-level Excel skills (complex formulas, pivots, data validation, large datasets).
Client & Internal Collaboration

  • Act as a trusted analytics partner to client stakeholders, confidently explaining data methodologies, KPIs, and performance trends.
  • Collaborate closely with planning, activation, technology, and data teams to ensure seamless end-to-end delivery.
  • Support senior leadership with analytical inputs for client presentations, reviews, and strategic discussions.
  • Help establish and evolve analytics best practices within the planning team.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a track record of delivering accurate, error-free outputs.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate data into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders and working collaborative within larger teams.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in media analytics, marketing analytics, or performance measurement, ideally within a media agency or complex client environment.
