Manager Distribution

Key Responsibilities:

• Distribution Planning and Coordination
• Plan and manage the distribution network.
• Ensure products are delivered to the right location at the right time.
• Coordinate transportation schedules and delivery routes.
• Inventory and Warehouse Management
• Monitor inventory levels and stock movement.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of goods.
• Minimize stock shortages, overstocking, and inventory discrepancies.
• Transportation Management
• Manage fleet operations, drivers, and third-party logistics providers.
• Optimize transportation costs and delivery efficiency.
• Track shipments and resolve delivery issues.
• Team Leadership
• Supervise warehouse, logistics, and distribution staff.
• Allocate resources and assign duties.
• Train, motivate, and evaluate team performance.
• Customer Service and Vendor Coordination
• Liaise with customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, transporters, and service providers.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through efficient order fulfillment.
• Performance Monitoring and Reporting
• Analyze distribution KPIs such as delivery accuracy, lead time, and transportation costs.
• Prepare operational reports for management.
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Compliance and Safety Management
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Implement warehouse and transportation safety standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments.
• Cost Control and Budget Management
• Manage distribution and logistics budgets.
• Identify opportunities to reduce operational costs.
• Negotiate contracts with transport and logistics service providers.
