Job Summary

We are seeking a results-driven Final Expense Insurance Manager to lead a high-performing team of insurance agents specializing in final expense life insurance products. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in life insurance sales and team leadership, with a strong understanding of the senior market, closing strategies, and compliance requirements. This role is critical in driving revenue growth, maintaining regulatory compliance, and ensuring an exceptional client experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and motivate a team of final expense insurance agents or closers.
  • Oversee daily operations, including sales pipeline management and performance tracking.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase policy closings.
  • Monitor team KPIs such as lead-to-close ratio, average premium, persistency, and compliance adherence.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and training to ensure team success.
  • Handle escalated customer concerns or complex cases as needed.
  • Collaborate with marketing and lead generation teams to ensure steady flow of qualified leads.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to stay competitive.
  • Participate in recruitment and professional development of new agents.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in life insurance sales, with a focus on final expense or senior market products.
  • 1–2+ years of experience in a sales leadership or team management role.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Comfortable using CRM platforms, call tracking tools, and reporting dashboards.
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Deep knowledge of final expense products, underwriting, and policy structures.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing remote or call center-based insurance teams.
  • Experience with telesales or virtual closing strategies.
  • Familiarity with U.S. life insurance regulations and carriers
