Job Title: Manager – Finance & Accounting (US Region)

Require candidates with R2R accounting experience and handled US clients

Location: Ambattur, Chennai

Shift: Day Shift (10:00 AM – 7:00 PM IST)

Experience Required: 9–12 years

Job Summary

We are seeking a Finance & Accounting Manager to handle accounting and financial reporting for the US region. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in general accounting, R2R (Record-to-Report) processes, including managing general ledger, P&L, and balance sheet activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee end-to-end accounting operations for the US region, including general ledger, P&L, and balance sheet management.
Manage the Record-to-Report (R2R) process, ensuring accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closures.
Ensure compliance with US GAAP and company policies in all accounting operations.
Prepare financial statements, variance analysis, and management reports for senior leadership.
Monitor intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and account analyses.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including FP&A, Tax, and Treasury to support financial planning and decision-making.
Identify process improvements and drive automation in accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Mentor and guide junior team members to build a strong finance team.
Serve as the primary point of contact for audits, internal controls, and financial compliance matters for the US region.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
9–12 years of experience in accounting, preferably handling US operations.
Strong expertise in general accounting, R2R, ledger management, P&L, and balance sheet processes.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, or similar) and accounting software.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work in a day-shift (10:00 AM – 7:00 PM IST) schedule, aligning with US business hours.
