Job Description (JD) of Manager Finance Operations

The candidate plays a critical role in maintaining and expanding relationships with a company’s clients. Below are the key responsibilities typically associated with the role:

Client Relationship Management

Sales and Revenue Generation

Sales Goals: Achieve sales targets by identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts and upselling or cross-selling products/services.

Proposal Development: Prepare and present proposals tailored to clients’ specific needs and objectives.

Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profit while ensuring client satisfaction.

Account Management

Account Planning: Develop detailed account plans to ensure clients receive the appropriate products/services and support.

Performance Tracking: Monitor account performance and analyze metrics to gauge the success of services provided.

Coordination and Collaboration

Internal Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, marketing, product development, and customer service to meet client needs.

Project Management: Manage client projects from inception to completion, ensuring deliverables meet the client’s expectations and deadlines.

Reporting and Documentation

Reporting: Provide regular reports to clients on their account status, including performance metrics and improvement suggestions.

Documentation: Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of client interactions, agreements, and account activity.

Feedback Collection: Gather and act on client feedback to improve service delivery and client satisfaction.

Financial Management

Budget Management: Manage account budgets, ensuring projects are completed within financial constraints.

Invoicing: Oversee the invoicing process, ensuring clients are billed accurately and payments are received on time.

Professional Development

Industry Knowledge: Stay updated with industry trends, competitive landscape, and best practices to provide informed advice to clients.
