The Human Resources and People Strategy team at Navi manages the entire employee lifecycle, from talent acquisition and HR operations to employee engagement and development. They partner closely with both tech and non-tech business teams to

design and implement strategies that attract, retain, and develop top talent, ensuring a thriving, high-performance organizational culture.


About the Role

As the Manager - HRBP (Product) at Navi, you will be a strategic advisor and trusted partner to our Product leadership, playing a pivotal role in enabling high performance and scalable growth across our Product organization. This role is crucial for shaping people strategies that directly align with product roadmaps, customer-centric goals, and overall business objectives. You will be expected to influence everything from organizational design and team health to leadership development and talent planning, with a strong focus on what it takes to build and scale world-class Product Management, Design, and Analytics talent in a fast-paced fintech environment. What We Expect From You

Business Partnership

● Develop a strong understanding of each Product vertical’s goals, roadmap, priorities, and customer impact metrics to be an effective strategic advisor.

● Partner closely with Product leaders to provide data-driven insights on team health, workforce planning, and scaling strategies for rapid growth.

● Act as a change agent, helping the Product organization navigate growth and evolution, including new product launches and market pivots.


Employee Experience

● Act as the primary HR point of contact for employees and managers within specific Product verticals, addressing concerns and facilitating people processes.

● Track engagement and satisfaction trends, working with leadership to implement team- specific initiatives that enhance retention and growth.


HR Processes & Talent Development

● Drive performance management within Product verticals, ensuring structured feedback loops are aligned with product delivery milestones and business objectives.

● Identify learning and skill development needs unique to Product Managers, Designers, and Analysts, and collaborate with leaders to implement tailored growth initiatives focused on product strategy, design thinking, and data analysis.

● Partner with leadership on succession planning, ensuring a strong internal pipeline of future Product leaders.


Product-Specific Initiatives

● Support organizational design changes, collaboration models, and process improvements to enhance efficiency across the Product lifecycle, from discovery to launch.

● Contribute to cross-vertical projects that optimize the ways of working, particularly the vital collaboration interface between Product, Engineering, and Business teams.


HR Policies & Compliance

● Ensure consistent application of HR policies across Product verticals while tailoring guidance to the specific needs of each team.

● Work with leaders to align policies with the realities of product execution, design iteration, and high-velocity decision-making.


Must Haves

● Master’s Degree from Tier-1/Tier-2 institute

● 5–7 years of experience in HR business partnering, preferably within the technology, fintech or startup industry

● Proven ability to be a trusted advisor for your stakeholders

● Exceptional communication and influencing skills with the ability to build credibility quickly

● Experience in change management, organizational design, and employee relations is a plus
